Since it costs mana, it'll interrupt your mp5 if you generally autoattack mobs for mana efficiency. It's main use is utiltiy in groups or raids that have multiple paladins to help retain judgement effects. It also deals more damage with Seal of the Crusader on, which might seem odd since crusader lowers your damage per hit.
